St. Anne Medals

St. Anne is the mother of the Virgin Mary, the wife of St. Joachim, and the grandmother of Jesus Christ. Not named in Scripture, she is nonetheless one of the most deeply venerated women in the Catholic tradition — honored as the woman who raised the one who would become the Mother of God. Her name in Hebrew is Hannah, meaning grace. Her feast day is July 26, shared with St. Joachim.

St. Anne is patron of mothers, grandmothers, women hoping to conceive, those in difficult pregnancies, women in labor, childless couples, and all who struggle with infertility. She and Joachim are said to have waited years for a child before conceiving Mary — making her the natural patron for those in the same waiting.

The Basilica of Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré in Quebec, Canada, is one of the most visited Catholic pilgrimage sites in North America, drawing over a million visitors annually. The walls are lined with crutches and canes left by pilgrims healed through her intercession.

Our St. Anne medals are handcrafted in the USA by Bliss Manufacturing in sterling silver, gold-filled, and 14K solid gold — each with a limited lifetime guarantee. A meaningful gift for mothers, grandmothers, baby showers, and any prayer for new life.
