Description

This five decade Catholic rosary is made of carved wooden beads strung on a sturdy cord for durability. It is perfect for both men and women. The large beads are oval in shape and carved for easy and comfortable grasp during a prayer. Each bead is about 10 mm in length. The whole rosary is well constructed and beads not too snugly strung which is perfect for old hands. The Pater beads are the same size as the Hail Mary's and separated by a Franciscan knot on both sides. The five decades are joined in the middle by a nice center piece featuring a Miraculous Medal on one side and a Sacred Heart of Jesus image on the other. The medal is made of metal with a an antique gold mat finish. A traditional crucifix made of wood completes these rosary beads and features antique gold corpus nailed to the wooden base. The corpus is nicely detailed with a three dimensional feel to it. The back of the crucifix is plain with no decorations. You can hang this rosary on your car's rear-view mirror as it is coated with a clear varnish for an extra protection. NOTE: These prayer beads are made of wood which has natural imperfections and color variations. Beads are not uniform in color which adds character and uniqueness to each rosary.
